Hello!

Let me introduce myself, I'm Dylan! I found my passion and love for creative media in high school. There is something so satisfying about being behind the camera. It's not only the creativity that I like but I get to meet so many new people and fulfill their visions for certain projects that they are wanting. It's rewarding for me to see their reactions to the final outcome and makes me want to continue doing what I love.

Originally from Pennsylvania, I moved to Missouri in 2015 to pursue my love for sports media at one of the best division II schools in the Nation, Northwest Missouri State. While at NWMS I gained experience not only on the media side of athletics but also on the marketing side. 

I was part of two internships in 2017 and 2018, with a collegiate summer baseball team, the St. Joe Mustangs, and the professional soccer team D.C. United. Those two internships helped me dive deeper into my career of sports media. I was also able to branch out into concert media in 2017 and 2018 at a country festival in Cherokee, Iowa called Mill Creek Fest where I was lead photographer.

In 2019 and 2020 I stepped into social media marketing where I created content for two high school football programs, ACGC Chargers and Van Meter Bulldogs. 

Over the years I have gained more experience trying to grow in photography by doing freelance work for Kansas State Football, Iowa State Football and Creighton Men's Basketball. Along the way I have done senior, wedding, scenic and couples photography through my freelance business, Dylan James Photography.
